Anna Guest House

The house can be found in a big, quiet garden surrounded by fence. The furniture is modern, country-style and antique. The kitchen has up-to-date equipment, but it is furnished in accordance with the country atmosphere. It is extanded by a patio with garden chairs and table. In the house there are two separate rooms upstairs. One of them has a double bed in it and the other has two separate beds. The latter room has a balcony looking onto the garden. The guests can watch foreign television channels by a satelite dish aerial.
There is a 100 year old restored country cottage on the other side of the garden. Guests are received all around the year. In winter heating is provided by gas convectors.
There is a garage for cars as well. Mesterhaza is an ideal place for relaxation and recreation. The plain countryside with small streams and patches of wood is most suitable for walks and bicycle tours. The nearby resortplace, Buk (8km) is famous for its thermal bath. Its medical water cures different kinds of rheumatic deseases. Next to the bath there is an open-air swimming-pool, a golf course and there are several tennis courts, horseriding and fishing facilities.
Tourists can make trips to the historical town of Koszeg and the neighbouring Velem and Bozsok - known for their medical climate, or to Szombathely, a town with Roman ruins.
They can visit the oldest existing church in Hungary in Jak, or the small villages of Orseg preserving the remains of old country life. Mesterhaza is situated 77km west of lake Balaton, 40km south of the picturesque lake Fertoi, 120km east of Vienna and 200 km west of Budapest.
