Villány is situated southwards from Pécs, approximately 30 km, being one of the most famous wine-districts in Hungary. Its vine-lands and also the village itself are protected by the long-stretching mountains of Villány. You can find accommodation among old cellars in our peasant-cottage like pension . In the wine cellar, different kinds of quality wine are available to be tasted. In our double rooms with bathrooms and in our triple rooms 18 persons can be accommodated. Our rates for 2002: 3000-4250 HUF/night/person Our room rates include also the price of a rich breakfast. In addition to a real rest there are a lot of interesting sights, e.g. Sculptors Exhibition-Symposium on the hillside of Siklós, Wine Museum in Telki-Cellar, folklore programs. Further arrangements: tennis-facilities, horse-carriage tours, hunting, riding, wine-tastes. We are waiting for all the guests with German knowledge and hospitality. Now, we are running a farm of approx. 30 hectares maintaining the family`s wine-growing and vine-producing traditions. To achieve top quality, grape-vines from the best districts of Villány, harvested with a limited average yield are processed, in compliance with the latest technological requirements. Since our Co. Ltd. was established with Mr. Franz Weninger, Austrian wine-grower, also wines with Barrique-ripening are produced, applying a machinery of our own. when bottling. Our selection: Olaszrizling, Rosé, Kékportó, Kékfrankos, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Cuvée of Bordeaux style made from several red wines. Our sale`s area: gastronomy and special wine- shops. We also organise wine-tastes if preliminary agreed upon.
